Welcome to the D-Day Wiki:

D-day is a modification for the game Red Alert 2 and its expansion Yuri's Revenge. It changes Red Alert 2 from a cartoony cyberpunk game into a gritty and realistic World War II game that spans from the early beginnings of the conflict in the 1930's onto a hypothetical continuation of the war into the 1950's. D-day has a vast amount of units spread over eleven playable sides, in this wiki you'll be able to find information on each of them.

M4A4 Sherman

The M4A4 variant of the Sherman tank was designed and built by Chrysler, it used Chrysler's A57 multibank engine which required lengthening the hull slightly. The A57 was the only engine specifically designed for use in the Sherman tank, the others being modified from aircraft or truck engines. Chrysler built 7499 of them between July 1942 and November 1943. The US Army however preferred the M4A3 over the M4A4 and so nearly all of them were given to Britain, France and China under Lend-Lease. The British then modified over 2000 of them into the 17pdr equipped Firefly.

Hi, this is probably a stupid question but,I've installed the game correctly and it works fine, but when I'm in the Skirmish menu choosing the different sides to play in the match, I only have access to America, Britain, Russia, Germany, Italy, France and Hungary. Why don't I have access to Japan, China, Poland, Sweden or Czechoslovakia?

Ha, I've just realized that China, Poland, Sweden and Czechoslovakia are still being developed. My bad. Is Japan still in development too?

I appreciate your support and I apologise for the lack of updates over the past six months. I plan to restart posting news on a regular basis soon.

The progress bar on the main site has been rather difficult to calculate because the exact requirements for the next release are regularly changing. Progress is bing made though and the next release will be bigger & better then what anyone could have imagined when I started.

I just got to say i don't actually own this particular C&C game nor do i have this mod installed. But this mod looks absolutely amazing & interesting. The units and factions are diverse and so 'outside the box' even if they are paper prototypes (Or even model kit concepts). Its also great to see your favorite 20th century war machines 8-bit but still with amazing detail. Keep up the great work migeater I regular join this page. (As I show this page around on a game, simpleplanes as a ideas website for plane designs)

i'v had this since 2014 and i got to say that this is the best mom or expansion i'v ever came across. this mod reminded me a lot of a peace of art work. but however i am a bit disappointed for a peace of art to be left in in a dark place to collect dust. or like a once glistening flower, wilting and dying on a windowsill. what i am trying to say is that it would mean the world to me to see this project kick back on its feet. also i would love to help out... if you want. thank you.
