In addition to the twelve main playable nations in D-day there are also units from several other smaller nations that can be found inside the bonus crates that are randomly scattered around the battlefield.
Currently only units from Belgium and the Netherlands are available in v3.7 of D-day. Units from other nations such as Romania, Finland, Spain, Switzerland, Argentina and several more will be included in future releases.

D-day also features several hidden "easter egg" units based on the tanks from the Dreamcast/Playstation computer game Panzer Front & the hit Japanese Anime/Manga Girls Und Panzer. These units are only available in specific game modes from random bonus crates. Hunt down these unique units and see if you can find them all!
